I am Rahila Baig, HSK-3 student at Confucius Institute at University of Karachi, Pakistan and doing job as Chinese Language teacher at Pak China International Education System, Pakistan. It was 17th of July 2017 on Monday I was so excited when my teacher had informed me that you are selected for the “Teacher Training Program” at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), Beijing, China for two weeks. On 19th July I had departure from Karachi along with my group consist of total nine members from different HSK level students from Confucius institute University of Karachi as well as teaches Chinese language in different institutes of Karachi named: Parveen akhter, Nasreen, Rahila Sheikh, Adil Naseem, Naveed Kabeer, Rustam, Zain, Taha, Waqas.
The main motto of this training program is to trained the Chinese language teachers from Pakistan whose first language is not Chinese and support the language Globally. After China Pakistan Ecnomic Corridor (CPEC) the demand of candidates knowing chinese language has increased so Pakistani and Chinese government has starated different program for students to learn chinese easily in thier own country.Trainess from Islamabad, Peshawer and Quetta have also participated. During the training we have learned differnet and easy ways of teaching chinese language in the Pakistani institues. We have learned how to cover difficulties (such as tones, characters, chinese culture) faced by both teacher and student during the class.

During training there were two classes everyday in which teachers give us lectures.

In very first class teacher told us the history of Forbidden City and on next day we have paid visit to Forbidden City and Beijing Capital Museum. The Forbidden city was imperial palace in early ages (1368-1911) for the 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties. This palace was first built throughout fourteen years during the reign of emperor Chengdu in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). There was no entry for public without special permission from the emperor so it was called Forbidden City and now the name of this place is "The Palace Museum".

It is divided into two sections, the southern and northern. Southern section is also called outer court where the emperor exercised his supreme power over the nation and where he lived his wife was known as northern section also called inner court. The Palace Museum listed by UNESCO as world cultural heritage site in 1987 is now one of most popular tourist attraction worldwide.

Different Teachers have also given us lectures each day about vocabulary, Grammar, Listening, Speaking of Chinese language. Teacher also gave us lecture about class managemnet in which we learned how to deal with student in classroom. In this program we have also got lectures about different historic and culture places of China and after lecture we had visited these places which includes Forbidden city, Beijing Capital Museum, Great wall of China, Huotng Streets Mongolia, Desert, Mausoleum of Genghis Khan.
